About once a quarter, my division has what we affectionately term an "All Hands" meeting meaning everyone who works in the division is supposed to give up their entire day to go and sit and be bored for 8+ hours.  I know that it's absolute torture for everyone sitting there.  Imagine how it is when you have to be the one up there talking.  The first one of the year is always the worst.  At year end, we are celebrating accomplishments, and it always seems more light-hearted.  The first of the year is about goals and things that still have to be done.  It always seems like there is so much to do and so little time to do it.  At least I had the first two hours when everyone was still fresh and had just enjoyed breakfast.  My boss had the last half of the day after lunch when everyone is tired and has heard enough.  We try to make it less painful by having everyone dress casually.  This was my "casual, but I'm still the boss, so please work safely and meet your goals, oh and it's spring" outfit.  If you'd like to share what you wore on Monday, go over to Not Dead Yet Style and share for Visible Monday.
