Before the hub left for his first two weeks in Detroit, we ventured out on the town for date night. I wore this outfit, and he was in his typical Brooks Brothers attire. Ruth's Chris is our favorite place to go for steaks at the moment. I love the sizzling plates that keep your steak warm the entire time you are eating it but somehow magically don't overcook it. Going to Ruth's Chris is license to make even your veggies not good for you: au gratin everything. Notice how huge hub's bone-in fillet is. He was able to finish that and half of mine as well. And look at how my Manhattan frosted up my glass because it was so perfectly shaken. Tonight we are taking the kids to Philippe's for French dips before hub gets back on the plane to Detroit tomorrow.
