When I woke up this morning, I put on white pants and a long flowing blouse.

But that was really boring, and I have a cold and wanted something that would keep me warm while I had to sit through a four-hour meeting in a hotel conference room this afternoon.  So I pulled on this tweed blazer and a cashmere scarf.


And added chunky shoes.


I looked in the mirror and realized I was dressed for fall on June 2.  But I didn't care.  And the funny thing was, I didn't dress like this all last fall.  I guess I had some catching up to do.
